The City of Pleasant Hill’s new Animal Shelter is complete, with a ribbon cutting recently held to mark this important milestone. Designed to improve operational efficiency while creating a safe, welcoming environment, the facility supports staff, volunteers, and the animals in their care.
NAVIGATE Building Solutions served as the City’s Owner’s Representative, providing guidance and oversight from planning through delivery. Our role focused on protecting the City’s interests, coordinating with project partners, and helping ensure the project aligned with budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
This project is part of Pleasant Hill’s voter-approved Prop P program, focused on improving critical public facilities throughout the community. The completion of the Animal Shelter represents another key milestone within that broader effort.
As the project transitions from construction to occupancy, staff and animals are preparing to move into the new facility — a space designed to support high-quality animal care for years to come.
