NAVIGATE is serving as Owner’s Representative for the refresh of the Forest Park Boathouse, supporting Forest Park Forever and the City of St. Louis as they advance planned improvements to the facility. The project focuses on supporting the Boathouse’s current level of use while extending the life of the building and its amenities.
Originally reconstructed in 2003, the Boathouse has continued to grow in popularity as a dining and event destination. NAVIGATE is assisting the project team in addressing operational demands created by that growth, with improvements centered on functionality, circulation, and long-term maintenance.
Planned interior updates support restaurant operations and enhance the visitor experience, with expanded food preparation capacity, improved lake views, and a former boat storage area repurposed for event use.
Exterior improvements are being coordinated to better support how the site is used throughout the year. These updates include expanded patio areas, outdoor service features, dock replacement, and a new permanent pavilion for events. Additional improvements focus on accessibility and durability through updated paving, building envelope upgrades, and site enhancements.
NAVIGATE is proud to support this transformational project and to play a role in enhancing one of Forest Park’s most recognizable destinations. As Owner’s Representative, our team is providing oversight and coordination from planning through construction to help deliver a project that serves the community while preserving the character of this well-loved facility.
