NAVIGATE is proud to have served as Construction Manager for the recently completed St. Louis County Police Gun Range project—a key facility supporting law enforcement training across the region. What began as a feasibility study transformed into a full-scale facility improvement effort, with NAVIGATE guiding the process from initial concept through completion.
Our involvement began with an extensive evaluation phase that included property searches, cost estimates for multiple options, and a detailed feasibility study to assess the construction of a new indoor/outdoor range. Once the scope was defined, NAVIGATE led construction efforts for a series of upgrades to modernize and extend the life of the facility.
The final scope included a roof replacement, new turning target system, new pavement, a new septic system, and coordination of a water well system—a unique element not often used in county projects. NAVIGATE worked closely with contractors and regulatory agencies to design and implement the well system, ensuring reliable water access and long-term functionality.
The project was completed on budget and five months ahead of schedule—a result of clear communication, proactive planning, and close collaboration among all stakeholders.
This gun range is one of several law enforcement facilities NAVIGATE is currently managing on behalf of St. Louis County.
