NAVIGATE managed pre-construction and construction for the renovation and addition of the St. Charles Police Station. The project involved major upgrades to 60% of the fully operational 65,000 SF facility, including significant renovations to the locker rooms and fitness center, reinforcement of primary entry points, and the renovation of the 911 Dispatch Center.

NAVIGATE managed pre-construction and construction of the Clayton Fire Department’s bunk room renovations.  The renovations optimized space with custom wall beds, built-in furniture, new carpet and paint, added outlets, and compact ceiling fans for enhanced comfort.

 Project scope for the 32,500 SF renovation included:

·      Critical phasing and access plans to maintain operations throughout construction

·      Evaluating options for maintaining two to three person sleeping quarters with quality, durable wall bed solutions

·      Estimating and budgeting

·      Soliciting, evaluating and selectingsubcontractors for multiple scopes of work

·      Scheduling work to minimize disruption to thefire department’s operations, with close coordination of material procurement

• Tour 3 existing City of Columbia buildings to understand current operations and meet with staff from up to 6 user groups to assess current building needs.

• Tour 2810 LeMone Industrial Boulevard to review existing conditions.

• Develop a program, along with a detailed block diagram, concept floor plan, concept site plan, and a rendering to illustrate how 2810 LeMone Industrial Boulevard could potentially be utilized based on the developed program.

• Prepare a cost opinion, total program budget and schedule that evaluates all the required costs to relocate and expand police operations to a potential new location along with other potential city departments.
